New members get a break on dues at Temple Sinai

Posted

In an effort to attract new members, Temple Sinai in Cranston is offering a chance for people to get to know the congregation without dues for the remainder of 2016.

The Temple’s Board of Directors voted at a meeting on Aug. 4 to offer  membership in the congregation to new members at no cost through the end of 2016. The offer includes tickets to High Holy Day services. New members would still be required to pay tuition for Religious & Hebrew School for their children from the beginning of the school year.

The congregation hopes that once people meet the rabbi and cantor and the entire Temple family, they will want to be part of what is a vibrant community.

Members of the congregation  look forward to welcoming all to  experience High Holy Days with the new cantor, Dr. Deborah Johnson,  as she joins Rabbi Jeff Goldwasser on the bimah.
