At this event, Maria Borges, a Certified Nursing Assistant of the JFS Home Care Solutions program was one of four statewide award recipients. She received the award for “Professional Caregiver.” Home Care Solutions nurse manager Linda Amore, RN, nominated Maria for the award because of her 18 years of dedicated service at JFS and her dedication to her clients, even as she cared for her terminally ill husband at home.

In her letter of recommendation, Linda stated, “Although we have many wonderful CNAs at Home Care Solutions, there are none more caring and compassionate than Maria. We are so very fortunate to have Maria Borges as part of the JFS family.”
