Gloria J. Stern, 84

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Gloria J. Stern died July 20. She was the wife of the late Daniel Stanton Stern. Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Doris (Goldhagen) Rosenstein, she had been a resident of Rhode Island since 1958.

She graduated from Boston Teacher’s College in 1951. She was a member of Temple Emanu-El, B’nai Brith and Hadassah. She enjoyed her book club, playing Mah jongg, and spending time with her friends. 

She is survived by her children; Tracy Webb and her husband Stephen and Evan Stern, her brother; Beryl Rosenstein, her grandchildren Daniel Webb, Devin Stern, Craig Webb and Adam Webb, and seven nieces and nephews.
