CRANSTON, R.I. – Bernice H. Engle of Cranston died July 1 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert “Bobby” S. Engle. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Isaac “Chuck” and Lillian (Alberts) Chorney, she had lived in Cranston for 55 years. Bernice was a member of Temple Sinai and its Sisterhood, ORT and Miriam Hospital Women’s Association.
She was the mother of Howard (Milly) Engle and Susan (Edward) Odessa. Grandmother of Brooke, Benton and Bianca and step-grandmother of Mark and Miranda. Step-great-grandmother of Myles and Dasani.
