“The Schizophrenic Zionist”

Joel Chasnoff, professional comedian, actor and veteran of the Israeli Army, will perform his one-man show “The Schizophrenic Zionist” at the Norman M. Fain Hillel Center, 6 Fraternity Circle, Kingston, R.I. on Thursday, January 30 at 7 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.

Chasnoff is a stand-up comedian and writer with stage and screen credits in eight countries. His comedic memoir, “188th Crybaby Brigade,” published by Simon and Schuster in 2010, chronicles his experiences as a combat soldier in the Israeli Army. Chasnoff has been the warm-up act for Jon Stewart and Lewis Black of The Daily Show, and performed in a USO Comedy Tour of the Far East entertaining American marines. He has performed at more than 1,000 comedy clubs, colleges, festivals and Jewish events across North America, Israel, and Europe.
