Shirley Goldenberg, 87

WARWICK – Shirley Goldenberg died Oct. 26 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Irving Goldenberg. Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Emilio and Susie (Terelli) Ferranti, she had lived in Warwick for eight years, previously living in West Warwick and Providence. She was a receptionist for Capuano Sanitary Landfill for many years, retiring more than 20 years ago.

She was the mother of Janice Maggiacomo and her husband, Philip, of Cranston, Jacob Goldenberg and his wife, Elyse, of Exeter, and Marsha Carbone and her partner, Scott Molloy, of West Kingstown; sister of Celia Ricci of Cranston and the late Salvatore Ferranti; grandmother of Lacey, Shana, Daniel, Michael, Sara and Robbi; great grandmother of Jason, Ava, Sophia, Lilianna, Caleb, Jenna and Bella.
