Elaine C. Levy, 88

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Elaine C. (Yosinoff) Levy died July 21. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Minnie (Potter) Yosinoff. A lifelong resident of the city she was a secretary for 16 years with the Providence School Department. Prior to that she was a secretary with the Providence Hebrew Day School, retiring in 1995.

Ms. Levy was a member of Temple Emanu-El and its leisure club, a life member of the former Pioneer Women, now known as Na’Amat, and a member of the Alumni Bowling League in Cranston, Cranston Senior Guild, and the Hebrew Free Loan Association.

She is survived by her children: Miriam Levy Albert and her husband Andrew Abramson, and Sara Levy and her husband Robert Padilla; her grandchildren Zoe and Jacob; and her brother Louis Yosinoff. She was the sister of the late Peter and Maurice Yosinoff.
