Bunya Goman, 93

altPROVIDENCE, R.I. – Bunya Goman of Providence, passed away on March 14 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of Isaak Goman, to whom she was married for nearly 69 years. Born in Ukraine in 1921, she lived in Belarus most of her life. During the war, she worked at a post office and, later, at a textile factory for a short time. She spent most of her years being a homemaker and raising three sons – Yakov, Boris and Sam Goman. In 1990, she immigrated to the United States, settling on Doyle Avenue. Besides her sons and their wives, she leaves six granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.
